Iconography and imagery
Icon, illicon, imagery, alternative-text, and representation rules.
Principles
- Use a consistent 1.75px stroke at the 20px default grid.
- Give standalone actionable icons an accessible name and 44px target.
- Choose imagery that is specific, respectful, and representative of real care contexts.
Usage boundaries
- Uber icons and illicons are reference evidence, not redistributable NexWell assets.
- Illicons are supportive spot illustrations, never clinical instruction.
- Decorative images use empty alt text; informative images need equivalent meaning.
Source category adaptedValues are NexWell decisions with explicit rationale; no source-brand value is assumed approved.
